Work included under this contract consists of all site work to suit project preparation, execution, and completion; removal of a portion of the existing bridge deck and abutment backwall, and proper disposal; removal of the existing welded continuity splice and installation of new bolted continuity splice plates and new sole plate at each pier; installation of reinforced concrete deck repair and an epoxy chip seal overlay; additional bridge rehabilitation; and installation of new bituminous overlay on each bridge approach.
Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from PA Department
of General Services (DGS) Failure to meet this requirement may be cause for rejection. Enter the DGS Small Business Certificate Number on bid form signature page where indicated.
