Work included under this contract consists of removing an existing culvert and replacing with a corrugated metal pipe-arch with reinforced concrete cutoff walls, rock lining and placing aggregate driving surface on roadway.
Bidders for this project shall either be or employ a Contractor, as of the bid opening date, listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S4, Installation of Culverts, Highway Construction, in accordance with the PennDOT’s Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2016. The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate. SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION AND SMALL DIVERSE BUSINESS MPLS: Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from PA Department of General Services (DGS) Failure to meet this requirement may be cause for rejection.
