Work included under this contract consists of replacement of Bridge No. 16-0026. The existing metal pipe structure is approximately 21” (high) x 27” (span) will be removed and replaced with a new structure that will be 5’-0” span and 4’-0” rise precast reinforced concrete box culvert with structure mounted guiderail. Also included are construction of approach roadway work, approach guiderail, and rock lining at both inlet and outlet ends.
Bidders for this project shall as of the bid opening date, be listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S4, Bridge Culverts, Pedestrian Bridges, Timber Bridges, in accordance with the PennDOT’s Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2016. The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate.
