Work included under this contract consists of all site work to suit project preparation, execution and completion. This includes demolition of existing structure Havice Valley Road over Havice Creek ( #07-0001). It will be replaced with a pre-stressed concrete box beam bridge with a 18 foot clear roadway width. Replacement at the structure will also include driving surface aggregate, rock lining, architectural surface treatment and guiderail including end treatments. Bidders for this project shall as of the bid opening date, be listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S1, Cement Concrete Bridges up to 120 ft. and Steel Bridges with Straight Girder up to 120 ft, in accordance with the PennDOT’s Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2016.
The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification
Certificate.
