Work included under this contract consists of removing two existing culverts and replacing with precast reinforced concrete rigid frame culverts with architectural surface treatment, rock lining, placing aggregate driving surface on roadway and installation of guiderail.
Bidders for this project shall either be or employ a Contractor, as of the bid opening date, listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S4, Installation of Concrete Bridge Culverts , Highway Construction, in accordance with the PennDOT’s Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2016. The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate.
